Person of Interest in Ivy League Campus Tragedy Located Deceased Inside Storage Unit.

The suspect believed to be the weekend's fatal shooting incident at Brown University reportedly took his own life on Thursday night, per officials.

His body was discovered at a storage location on Thursday evening, according to information from an official source. This suspect is also believed of the murder of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.

“He ended his own life tonight,” stated the chief of the Providence police department during a press conference.

The chief named the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.

This development comes after a major law enforcement presence at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Journalists on scene reported seeing numerous armed officers entering the premises.

The manhunt for the shooter had restarted on Monday after the attorney general's office announced that a individual detained on Sunday had been let go. This turn of events was acknowledged to be deeply concerning for the local community.

City leadership noted that while the letting go was a disappointment, the overall case was not paused without interruption.

The young victims who were killed in the attack have been named by family. They are Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama who was served as vice-president for a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an international student in his freshman year who aspired to a neurosurgeon.

Authorities are expected to hold a press conference to deliver further details on the circumstances of the death.
